The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.
The world and all its people belong to him.
For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas
and built it on the ocean depths (Psalm 24: 1-2 New Living Translation).

I don’t have time to write a full devotional this morning, but I wanted to share with you the scripture that came to mind while my husband and I were on a mini-vacation this weekend. As we drove through New York state and our subsequent boat tour through the 1000 Islands, we were amazed at the beauty of God’s creation. We traveled through lush, green forests and through rolling hills on the way to our destination, and when we arrived there, the water was breathtaking. It was a weekend of restoration to our souls.
All around are reminders of God’s creative power and how the earth really is His. I’m grateful for each and every time He reveals His majesty through the wonder of nature, and I truly believe taking the time to enjoy His wonder and beauty through His earth renews and rejuvenates us.
May your day be blessed!
Shalom,
Prudence
