Today’s word is “Worship”.
I hear the Lord say “Seek My face and My Presence in worship. True worship of Me is found when your heart and mind are in sync with Me and your trust is in Me, despite what you see going on around you. Worship allows Me to open your eyes to see the heavenly realm and all I desire to show you, and worship brings healing and breakthrough. You cannot worship what you don’t trust, and when your trust is in Me, you will worship Me. Come into My Presence, come up higher, come and worship, sit at My feet and be made whole.”
Psalm 29:2 “Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.”
It is no coincidence, then, that Today’s Jesus Calling by Sarah Young also speaks of worship:
“Worship Me only. Whatever occupies your mind the most becomes your god. Worries, if indulged, develop into idols. Anxiety gains a life of its own, parasitically infesting your mind. Break free from this bondage by affirming your trust in Me and refreshing yourself in My Presence. What goes on in your mind is invisible, undetectable to other people. But I read your thoughts continually, searching for evidence of trust in Me. I rejoice when your mind turns toward Me. Guard your thoughts diligently; good thought-choices will keep you close to Me” (Psalm 112:7; 1 Corinthians 13:11).
Our thoughts really, really, really affect every other aspect of our lives. Pay attention to the thoughts you think today and do a course correction if necessary! 🙂
