Holy

Today’s word is “Holy”, and actually it may this week’s word. Yesterday during our first service I had the awesome experience of a Revelation 4 vision. It was the most amazing thing God has shown me, and ya’ll know He’s shown me some wonderful things! Yet, this is the first time I’ve actually “seen” a spiritual vision superimposed over what’s going on in the natural.

What I saw was the Throne Room on the platform of our sanctuary. I could see only the feet of Him who sits on the Throne. It was such a magnificent sight, I still don’t have enough words to describe it. The Sea of Glass stretched throughout the entire sanctuary. I could sense the angels moving about, but their features were hidden from my sight because of the radiant glory of the Lord. There was such light coming from the Throne that I really could only see His feet, and that was enough. I was reminded of when Moses was allowed to only see the back of God as His goodness passed before him (Exodus 33: 19-23). The feet of God were so brilliant that the shiniest golden jewelry is the closest I can come to describe them. His throne seemed to be made from marble, gold and jewels all intertwined, but the vivid glamor came from Him who sits on the Throne. The exquisite light of heaven comes from Him also, and His glory and presence so filled our sanctuary each of us stood on holy ground whether or not we realized it. I could feel Him listening to our Pastor and sense His pleasure and I saw the submitted hearts of the congregation.

As I was seeing this vision, I began to hear the attached song in my spirit, and realized that sometimes we become so focused on the beauty of God’s grace and mercy that we can miss the exquisite elegance and awe of His Holiness and Manifest Presence. Furthermore, whatever was declared, decreed or prayed over during that time is done. We cannot stand before a Holy God and not be forever changed.

I heard the Lord say “I Am Holy. All who stand in My Holiness and My Presence are changed. There are many who do not recognize the splendor of My Holiness, yet when I AM among them, they are changed – healed, delivered, anointed. They are Mine. Call to Me, come up higher, come up deeper and I Will answer you.”

Revelation 4: 2-11 ” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.  And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:

“Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God Almighty,
Who was and is and is to come!”

Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

“You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”

Shalom,
Prudence ♥

A Storm All Around You – Jon Thurlow

I know there are creatures all around You
I know there are lightenings and thunderings
I know there’s a storm all around You
Holy, Holy, Holy

I see seven lamps of fire burning
I see a sea of glass mingled with fire burning
I see the Son of Man with eyes of fire burning
Burning, burning, burning

Halle- Halle- Hallelujah
For the Lord God omnipotent reigns

Everyone in the temple cries holy (glory)

Give us the fear of the Lord that we would not depart from You

The Lord is in His temple
Let all flesh tremble

    1. It was truly beautiful and I’m not sure I even adequately described it enough! There is so much to the brilliance of God that we simply cannot comprehend in our finite minds, but it was such a blessing to get even a glimpse! Shalom ♥
