Today’s Word is “Unity and Alignment”
The Lord showed me a picture of a chain, the links heavy and strongly intertwined with each other. He then showed me a picture of chain mail, where the links were so closely attached that it would be difficult for a weapon to pass through, which is the intention. I then saw weak spots in both the chain and in the armor where the link broke and the mail gave in.
I heard the Lord say, “Who you align yourself with this day will dictate how united you are with My work and My purposes. I am directing your steps toward the people I desire you to surround yourself with, but I have also given you free will. When you align yourself with strong believers, those who walk in faith, display My love and trust Me for all, you position yourself among pillars who are firmly grounded in Me. These pillars are a threefold cord not easily broken; when united together, praying for each other, encouraging and edifying each other, they hold together and do not break. Beware of false teachers, for many are rising up in this day, who seek out weak links. Beware of who you align and unite yourself with in this day. Trust Me to lead you to the fellowship of believers I have chosen you for. Just as armor protects vital parts, the body of believers I have chose you for allows for a strong bond and a protective covering for all united there.”
Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.
And a threefold cord is not quickly broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12 NKJV).
And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15).
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:23-25).
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace (Philippians 1:3-7).
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity (Psalm 133:1).
Shalom ♥
