Kingdom Come

Kingdom Come.

Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10 NKJV).

The Lord has been speaking to me about the Kingdom. His Kingdom. The Kingdom of Heaven. As a prophetic people, we have the ability and the authority to usher heaven into the earth. Every word we speak is prophetic and we constantly prophesy over ourselves when we open our mouths.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth” (Genesis 1:26).

We are made in the image of God, according to His likeness. Going back to the beginning, we read “God said…God saw” when He created the earth. Note – God SAID – He spoke the world into existence. His words were powerful enough to create! Next He SAW – He looked at what His words created and determined it was GOOD. God did not make anything bad, or junky, or useless. God SPOKE GOOD things into being!

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being (Genesis 2:7)

God spoke the world into existence, but He fashioned man from the dust of the ground His spoken word created; He BREATHED his BREATH into his nostrils! He carefully crafted us in His image and because His breath brought us to life, we were giving dominion over the earth!

Church, our words have always been powerful, but we have long ago forgotten the authority we have in prophecy. We have the ability to speak life into people, into places and into every area of our lives. We have too long been speaking words of condemnation and judgement over each other, we have spoken words of criticism and loathing. It is no wonder the world has become desensitized to the word of God and His authority. We have allowed it!

Church, the Kingdom of God is within our grasp! All we have to do is speak it into the earth! Imagine if we all spoke words of love and encouragement, not only to those in our churches, but to the lost, to those unsavory places in our cities, to those places of hurt in our bodies. To speak GOOD things and SEE those good things come to pass!

We must be willing to let the Light of His love color the dictionary of our hearts, bringing forth fruit that this abundant and juicy. We must be willing to put ourselves aside and open our mouths to usher in the Kingdom of Heaven with words of love, words of life, words of healing, words of encouragement, words that edify and build up, and words that open the doors of heaven!

In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen (Matthew 6:9-13)

Let heaven come!

Shalom 🙂
