Against the Wall

I’ve often heard the phrase “My back is against the wall, I have to do something”. In the past, I’ve even said it. Today, I thought of this phrase a different way.

wallI saw a brick wall, immovable, impenetrable and stable. I thought of this phrase and then the Lord showed me how He is the brick wall.

When Satan thinks he’s run me into a wall with nowhere to go, I laugh in his face. The wall I have at my back is Christ, and because of that I only need to rest and let my Lord and King take care of it.

I think I’m better off loitering against the wall than sticking my nose in places it doesn’t belong. I’m better able to receive my kingdom orders because the wall blocks the sound of lies anyway!

Shalom!
