Keep pressing in to pray over your jar of dirt! God is doing amazing things,and we will see the fruit of our prayers.
Our nation is filled with both a lot of love and a lot of hate, we must continue to speak LOVE over our jars, to declare our states places of love – love for it’s people, love for the Church, love for God and love for each other. God is love and when we speak love over our states, we begin to knit together the tears that hate had rendered. Love conquers hate, be love.
Testimony time again! I love what God is doing! At home I keep the lid on my jar and set it on my piano. But I bring it to work with me and take the lid off, playing either an audio bible or worship music. Last week, I shared a picture of new growth sprouting in the jar. Well, somehow the jar tipped over and my little green shoots were knocked out of place. Yesterday I peeked inside my jar and discovered about 4 more shoots growing up! As you can see, there is quite a difference in what was peeking out yesterday to what is grandly announcing itself today! In the natural, this is simply a jar of dirt with a label that says “New York”. In the spirit, this is the state of NY and God is bringing new life to light. There are heavenly things buried under the surface in this state and the Light of God’s LOVE is causing them to grow! What wondrous fruit are you beginning to see as the result of your prayers?
- As always, tell your jar of dirt how much you love it and how much it is valued. Speak words of affirmation and affection over it.
- Dig your heels in and begin to declare the seeds of corruption in your state remain unfertilized and die off, allowing seeds of righteousness and justice to germinate.
- Declare your borders closed to illegal trafficking of all kinds – drug, human, prostitution
- Read Psalm 91 over your jar
- Give God thanks and praise for all He is doing and ask to see fruit!
Don’t give up and don’t give in! He is working, He is God!
Psalm 91 NKJV
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler[a]
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”
