New Shoes
Papa is speaking to relationships, especially marriages and families. I hear Him say, “‘No’ is an anointed word. You have taken responsibility upon yourself I have not delegated to you. This has caused breakdowns in areas I have given you to build up. Because your attention has been diverted in doing things you were not called to do, what you have sown is now being reaped. You are weary and exhausted because you are moving in multiple directions and unable to focus and rest.
My love for you has not changed. It is now the season for you to rest, to pull back, to reassess and to say “no” to that which I have not assigned to you. Step back from all you are doing and listen for My leading in which to move foward in. Trust Me in that I have already met the needs for those areas you are trying to take care of. This process may be painful for you to do, you have walked too long in ill-fitting shoes meant for someone else, and they have warped your feet and hindered your walk. But I have a new pair of shoes especially made for you. It is My desire that you sit down and rest while I remove the shoes from your feet and heal the wounds they have caused.
Partner with Me as I show you the way and restore your relationships. I have a new path for you to walk and your new shoes have been made specifically for this trek. Always remember, I am not taking things from you, I am taking you somewhere.”
“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along gright paths, bringing honor to His name” (Psalm 23: 1-3 NLT).
