Today is named STRONG because in Christ we are strong. Our strength does not rely on the bulk of our physical muscles, but on the power of the Holy Spirit at work through us and our faith and trust in Jesus. When we feel weakest, Papa shows Himself strong and therefore we are well able to overcome and carry on. Bench pressing is not necessary when strengthening ourselves in the Lord.
“You are their glorious strength. It pleases You to make us strong” (Psalms 89:17 NLT).
“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power” (Ephesians 6:10).
