Today is named STOP COMPLAINING because we simply need to stop. Complaint opens the door to hitchhikers such as judgement, disdain, anger, comparison and control, just to name a few. It can be very easy to slip into complaining; we are unique individuals with distinct likes and dislikes. The key is to discover what benefit to the situation voicing our complaint is. We would be wise to either improve the situation or live with it. Constant complaint closes our eyes and ears to what the Holy Spirit may be attempting to teach or reveal to us. Don’t get stuck in a cycle of complaint, rejoice instead.
Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain. (Philippians 2:3-16 NKJV)
