Word for May- In Due Time

,

In Due Time

“Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19 NKJV).

May is the month we see more spring flowers poke their heads through the dirt and the trees suddenly spread their leafy canopies out and towards the sky. We begin to think about spring gardens, summer flowers and we become expectant about fall harvest. Spring is the season we seem to wake up from winter lulls; it speaks of newness and life.

Driving to work last week and thinking about the upcoming month, the Lord began to speak about seeds and plants. I saw a picture of tulips poking their heads through the soil, stretching their leaves and stalks high towards heaven. They have much to reach for after a long winter sleep. Holy Spirit began to speak and so I listened intently.

Many of us have sown seeds we have yet to see grow. We have prayed earnestly, emotionally and interceedingly for things we have yet to hear answers for. We have sown tears for loved ones, stood in faith with others for healing, prayed for financial provision for still others, or even for ourselves. We have prayed, and hoped and remained steadfast.

I felt the Lord saying May is when we will see growth in our seeds; stirrings in answer to our prayers. What we planted in faith, no matter how long ago, He has lovingly tended and is getting ready to release and grow. What a word of encouragement!

There are seasons of sowing and seasons for reaping, but in between sowing and reaping is the growing season. This is the process all things must go through. Ecclesiastes 3:11, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.” It is the “in its time” season we are coming out of. Our prayers and seeds have had to endure until Papa’s perfect time. This May begins the growing season and we will soon have a harvest! Papa has been busy at work answering the prayers of our hearts.

We must continue to be steadfast and patient, however we now have an accelerated sense of expectation for the time is almost here! Hold on to your hope!

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.”

Shalom,

Prudence

Yes, and considering some of the things my husband and I have prayed for, this brought an immense amount of peace.
