Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you” (Luke 6:38 ESV).

Jesus tells us in the book of Acts (20:35) that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Galatians 6:7 tells us that we will reap what we sow. Papa’s math leans more on the multiplication side of numbers and so if we are looking to get more of something, then we need to cheerfully give, or sow, it.

This principle does not simply mean finances, it encompasses every area of our lives. Supernatural time management happens when we give of our time; the same happens supernaturally with our resources, talents, finances, wisdom, love, friendship, etc. Papa multiplies what we sow and blesses us with a large harvest of the same!

When giving or sowing, we must check our motives and attitudes and do it from the right spirit. If we mindlessly go through the motion, we will miss the blessing and can hinder our harvest. Papa sees our hearts and knows them better than we do. He is not a genie granting us our wish, He is our Father who wants to lavish us with love.
