Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:19-21 NKJV).
We are living in days in which evil is called good and good is called evil. Now is not the time to do what everyone else is doing, but to continue doing good and behaving biblically. Scripture encourages us to not grow weary of doing good and we must hold fast to that as the evil in the world desires to wear us down and out.
It is the goodness and kindness of God which draws people to repentance and since we are His Body it is us He uses to show His character to others. Therefore it is important that we bless and not curse our enemies, that we do good and be kind to all men, that we truly walk and speak in love.
Be Jesus with skin on to this world. Do good, be kind, love others.
