Week 5 Prayer Focus

August 25, 2014 by Prudence Leave a Comment

Good morning and thank you for joining me for another week of fasting and prayer!

Today is a bit different for me as we have a special speaker this week and so we have services tonight and tomorrow night. Since I serve in both the worship and altar ministries, I will be at church at 7pm this evening. What I’d like to do is tie our prayer focus for this week into the message he began to touch on yesterday.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16 NLT). The speaker we are hosting this week says this is a most prophetic verse and we must be motivated by this Scripture. When we get this verse embedded in our spirit, the power of God is released and doors open, giving us the opportunity to minister to the world. If we want to see revival in the church, we must live this verse, for God so loved the WORLD, not just the church.

In a nutshell – today’s prayer focus is that we prophetically live John 3:16 as individuals and as a church, and that we respond to the Lord with “Here I am, send me” not “Here I am, send someone else”. Pray that we have radical faith, radical love and radical grace. Pray that we not fall for the bait of Satan to come to his level, but to stay tuned into the Holy Spirit and react in love and grace.

Shalom ♥

“Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.” — Ecclesiastes 11:5 Listen to chapter . Powered by BibleGateway.com.
